Intro

I’ve been buying off of Amazon for about a decade now. It start off with a purchase here and there during the holidays. Then it got to be more and more each year. The past couple years I’ve found myself buying things all year round. I came across the Chase Amazon Prime Card. So I decided to make it mine. So I thought I would review the Chase Amazon Prime Card.

Benefits

The Chase Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card is the perfect card if you shop on Amazon often. It pays 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases as well as Whole Foods purchases if you’re a Prime member. 3% if you’re not. The Prime card is made of metal, chich is cool. And your cash back can be paid in the form of cash in your bank account or a statement credit. Currently if your application is accepted you will immediately receive a $70 gift card. Although it would take $3,000 in purchases to get your prime membership fee money back. You have to pay that membership anyway, so it’s nice to get some cash back when shopping at Amazon. Along with 5% cash back off of Amazon purchases, the Prime card also pays 2% at restaurants, gas stations and drug stores, And wait for it….no annual fee!

Disadvantages

Pay your bill in full or APR can be high. Up to 22%. Chase Prime card is part of the Chase 5/24 rule. Keep that in mind when applying. The Amazon Prime card is strictly a cash back card and cannot be transferred as UR points for travel.

Conclusion

If you don’t have a Prime account, this card probably isn’t for you. For me, it feels good to get something back for purchases that I was going to make anyway. I recommend this card too all Prime members who are responsible with credit cards.
